Khabib Nurmagomedov improved his professional mixed martial arts record to a perfect 27-0 earlier this month at UFC 229, submitting Conor McGregor in round four of their event headlining matchup.
Almost immediately following his stoppage loss to “The Eagle” at UFC 229, Conor McGregor announced that he was “looking forward” to an immediate rematch with the undefeated Russian.
With that said, UFC President Dana White seems to have other ideas. The brash UFC boss recently stated that the promotion intends to have Tony Ferguson be the next man to challenge Khabib Nurmgagomedov for his lightweight title.
In most recent news, Anderson Silva accepted a former challenge laid out by Conor McGregor and said he would fight the Irish superstar at 180-pounds.
