Minnesota Vikings receiver Cordarrelle Patterson is expected to have a breakout year this upcoming season.
The Vikings first overall pick in the 2013 draft put up solid numbers in his rookie season last year.
However, under the guidance of new Minnesota Offensive Coordinator Norv Turner, the expectations for #84 have sky rocketed.
Patterson has already stated that his goal is to become a top-5 playmaker in the NFL this season.
Many people would say that goal is a stretch, but according to teammates and sources, Patterson looks to be as good or better than former Vikings star Percy Harvin.
Veteran wide receiver Greg Jennings had nothing but great things to say about the second-year receiver, his words:
“I’m excited,” Jennings told ESPN.com. “I told him this, and maybe it was a little premature, but I told him, ‘At some point, I’m going to tell my kids I played with Cordarrelle Patterson.’”
