The defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks invade Washington tonight to battle the Redskins in week 5’s edition of Monday Night Football.
Washington will be looking to rebound from a horrible 45-14 loss which they suffered at home to the New York Giants last Thursday night.
Kirk Cousins had a brutal performance in Week 4, throwing 4 interceptions in the teams prime time loss to the G-men.
Washington will need Cousins to return to the form that saw him throw a career high 427 yards against Philly in week 3, this if they want to have any hope of beating Seattle.
That will be easier said than done, as the Seattle boasts one of the league’s toughest defenses.
The Seahawks are coming off a week 4 bye, so they should be well rested for tonight’s game in Washington.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson should be able to pick apart the Redskins defense tonight at Fed Ex Field, much like Eli Manning did in week 4.
I would expect that Marshawn Lynch will have a huge day against a Washington Redskins defense who has looked vulnerable against the run so far this season.
Mix in Seattle’s star receiver Percy Harvin, and it’s hard to think of a way that Washington can win this one.
Las Vegas currently has Seattle pegged as -8.5 favorites.
I like Seattle to cover this spread and can see them winning by a final score of 33-13.
