Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman will return to the octagon in his home state of New York when he squares off with top contender Yoel Romero at UFC 205 this November.
Weidman has not competed in the octagon since his June title loss to Luke Rockhold. Prior to the setback, Weidman had won 13-straight victories.
Meanwhile, Yoel Romero recently completed his six-month suspension which was handed down by USADA. Romero’s most recent effort came against former Strikeforce champ “Jacare” Souza, whom he defeated via split-decision.
The winner of this fight will likely be next in line to challenge for the UFC’s middleweight title.
Who do you think emerges victorious?
