After 2 days of discussion, the Washington Redskins have finally inked free-agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson to a 3-year deal, terms of which have yet to be disclosed.
Following his release from the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, DeSean Jackson immediately began to receive interest from a number of NFL teams including the San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills.
However, it was the Washington Redskins organization who were able to secure the dangerous deep-ball threat for the next 3 seasons.
Jackson joins last year’s NFL receptions leader Pierre Garcon and newly signed slot receiver Andre Roberts in the Washington passing offense.
RG3 will now have numerous options in the pass game, to go along with Alfred Morris playing ‘Mr. Bulldozer’ in the Skins backfield.
