This Sunday at Super Bowl 50 veteran Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis will take to the field with a plate and a dozen screws holding together his right forearm.

Davis broke his right forearm during the team’s NFC Championship Game blowout over the Arizona Cardinals.

In addition to Davis, the Panthers will also have defensive end Jared Allen on the field Sunday night.

Allen had missed the past game with a broken bone in his foot, and injury he suffered against the Seattle Seahawks just three weeks ago.

Will Super Bowl 50 be Peyton Manning’s last game?

Will Super Bowl 50 be Peyton Manning’s last game?

Will Super Bowl 50 indeed by Peyton Manning’s last rodeo?

Those were the words that came out of the star quarterback’s mouth when he thanked Bill Belichick after winning the AFC Championship game just two weeks ago.

NFL media insider Ian Rapoport reported that other people close to Manning have said that he plans to ‘walk away’ after the outcome of Super Bowl 50.

It would be a storybook ending if Manning could go out on top by capturing his second Super Bowl title on Sunday.

However, that will not be an easy task when matched up against a stellar Carolina Panthers squad.

If it is the last time we see Peyton Manning, we will be saying goodbye to one of the Top 5 best quarterback’s to ever step foot on an NFL field.

Manning is a legend and guaranteed to be a first-ballet Hall of Famer.

Shogun Rua vs. Rashad Evans to headline UFC on FOX 19

A fight between two former UFC light heavyweight champions will headline April’s ‘UFC on FOX 19’ event, as UFC officials recently announced that Rashad Evans (19-4-1 MMA) has agreed to fight Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (23-10 MMA) in the evenings main event.

Rua and Evans were slated to fight four years ago at UFC 128, but a knee injury forced “Sugar” to withdraw from the proposed matchup.

Evans returned from a near two-year layoff at UFC 192 but unfortunately suffered a decision loss at the hands of Ryan Bader.

Meanwhile, Shogun was most recently seen in action at August’s UFC 190 event in Brazil, where he scored a decision victory over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Since losing his UFC title to Jon Jones in March of 2011, Rua has struggled to find consistent success, going just 4-5 in his past 9 bouts.

Who do you think will win this battle of former champs?
