Jay Cutler signs a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins

Jay Cutler’s retirement sure didn’t last long.

The former Chicago Bears quarterback signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins earlier this week.

Cutler’s deal with Miami is reportedly worth $10 million and comes on the heels of the squad losing their franchise quarterback Ryan Tannehill to a season-ending injury.

Matt Moore will serve as Cutler’s backup for the Dolphins.

How do you think Jay Cutler will do in Miami?

The Buffalo Bills (5-4) will invade Miami this evening to play the Dolphins in Week 11’s edition of Thursday Night Football.

Buffalo is coming off a tough home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10. The Bills dominated 3 quarters of that game, but Kansas City was able to rally in the fourth quarter and pull off the comeback win 17-13.

The loss to Kansas City snapped a 2-game winning streak for Buffalo, as they had defeated the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings in previous weeks.

In their 4 road games played this season, Buffalo has averaged 25 points per game on offense, while giving up just 20 points on average defensively.

The Bills defense ranks in the league’s top 10, both in passing and rushing defense.

Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins (5-4) had their 3 game winning streak snapped by the Lions last week in Detroit.

Prior to the setback, the Dolphins were coming off an impressive 37-0 home blowout of the San Diego Chargers.

Miami has gone 4-2 in their past 6 games, with both of their losses in that time coming by a combined 7 points.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has played very well under center as of late. The young pivot has thrown for over 2000 yards and 15 touchdowns so far this season.

The Dolphins defense has played spectacular in 2014. The squad is currently ranked the NFL’s third best defense, allowing just 19 points per game to their opponents.

The Bills and Dolphins met back in Week 2 of this season, with Buffalo earning the home victory by a final score of 29-10.

Buffalo has actually won the pairs last 3 meetings, including a 23-21 victory last season in Miami.

Las Vegas currently has Miami pegged as –4 point favorites, with the over/under set for 41 points.

I predict that Buffalo will keep this game close, but Miami will end up winning by a final score of 20-16.
