BREAKING! Richard Sherman signs 3-year deal with the 49ers!

Former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has agreed to a 3-year deals with the San Francisco 49ers.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news moments ago on Twitter:

The long-time Seattle Seahawks defender issued the following statement on social media after being released by the organization on Friday.

According to the report, Sherman signed a $39 million dollar deal with the rival 49ers which spans over three years.

The deal is said to include a five million dollar signing bonus.

The 29-year-old veteran, Sherman, suffered a season-ending Achilles tear this past November.

Seahawks looks to take over NFC West with Week 15 win over the Rams

Seahawks looks to take over NFC West with Week 15 win over the Rams

The Seattle Seahawks (8-5) will look to take over top spot in the NFC West by defeating division rivals the Los Angeles Rams (9-4) in Week 15 of the NFL’s regular season.

Seattle has gone 21-7 in their last 28 games played in the month of December.

The Seahawks are coming off a disappointing 30-24 road loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14, but are favored to bounce back at home in Week 15 against the Rams.

Seattle and Los Angeles have already played once this season, with the Seahawks emerging victorious 16-10 back in October.

With that said, Seattle will be missing two key players this time around as they will be without the services of Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor.

In order for Los Angeles to pull off the upset, the Rams will need quarterback Jared Goff to play at his absolute best.

The second-year pivot has been instrumental in helping the Rams offense average 30.5 points per game this season.

Who do you think will emerge victorious this Sunday in Seattle, the Rams or the Hawks?

The Seattle Seahawks made headlines this weekend by acquiring standout defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson in a trade with the New York Jets.

Richardson comes to the Hawks on an $8 million per season deal which Seattle can easily afford.

Sheldon Richardson played 15 games with the Jets last season recording 38 tackles, 24 assists, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble.

The move improves Seattle’s already solid defensive line which includes Michael Bennett, Cliff Avril and Frank Clark.

Richardson has looked like a beast so far this preseason so Seattle fans should be thrilled by the trade.

“Best Mode” is back!

Marshawn Lynch has agreed to terms with the Oakland Raiders.

NFL Network’s Michael Silver was first to report the news.

Financial details on Lynch’s deal with the Raiders have yet to be revealed.

Before joining Oakland, a trade from Seattle still has to be completed.

With that said, the trade between the Seahawks and the Raiders is basically a formality at this stage.

The 30 year-old running back will be joining an impressive up and coming squad in Oakland.

The Raiders will eventually be moving to Las Vegas, but “Beast Mode” will be showcasing his talents in California next season.

“Beast Mode” retired from football following the Seahawks heartbreaking last second loss at Super Bowl 50.

How do you think Lynch will perform in the “Black Hole” in Oakland?
