The Minnesota Wild will return to the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs for a third-straight year, this after defeating the Chicago Blackhawks by a final score of 2-1 on Tuesday night.

The Wild had a very slow start to the 2014 season but have flourished since acquiring goaltender Devan Dubnyk in January.

Since adding Dubnyk to their lineup, Minnesota has gone an amazing 27-8-3.

The Wild have relied on their strong defensive play, as well as key goals from captain Zach Parise to get them this far.

Minnesota will be one of the hottest teams entering this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.
